Press Release<o:p></o:p>August 29, 2023<o:p></o:p>Free medical camp for women of Kumira held by GPH Ispat<o:p></o:p>A day-long free medical camp was held by GPH Ispat Limited
on August 29 for the women of Kumira, Sitakund and its adjoining areas.
Hundreds of helpless, poor women from surrounding villages have been given free
treatment and medicine.<o:p></o:p>In the inaugural speech, Mohammad Almas Shimul, Additional
Managing Director of GPH Ispat said that GPH has organized the free medical
camp for women of this locality to mark the National Mourning Day.<o:p></o:p>GPH has always been working in the service of people. The
biggest example of this is the distribution of free oxygen cylinders in the
remote areas and upazilas of the country during COVID 19, which has saved many
lives.<o:p></o:p>

of Unique Hotel and Resorts, through the country’s highest strength GPH quantum
B600D-R<o:p></o:p>An agreement has been recently signed between GPH Ispat and
Unique Hotel and Resorts. Under this agreement, ‘South Park’, a new project of
Unique Hotel and Resorts will be built through the country’s only high strength
and high performing steel GPH Quantum B600D-R.<o:p></o:p>Mr. Mohammed Jahangir Alam, Managing Director of GPH Ispat
and Mr. Mohd. Noor Ali, Managing Director of Unique Group signed the agreement
on behalf of their respective organizations.<o:p></o:p>GPH Quantum B600D-R steel rebar is the first of its kind in
Bangladesh. A research of BUET found that this rod is 30 percent cost effective
compared to the low grade rods of the country. After conducting further
research of GPH, B600D-R was produced for the first time in the country. And
this grade of rebar is also very rare in the world.<o:p></o:p>Unique Hotel and Resorts will construct high rise building
‘South Park’ in an exclusive area in Dhaka. There will be 8 basements and 31
floors approximately in this building. Rods with high strength and high
ductility are required to maintain structural strength and security of this
kind of high-rise buildings.<o:p></o:p>
