GPH Ispat to be used to build ‘South Park’, a new project of Unique Hotel and Resorts, through the country’s highest strength GPH quantum B600D-R

An agreement has been recently signed between GPH Ispat and Unique Hotel and Resorts. Under this agreement, ‘South Park’, a new project of Unique Hotel and Resorts will be built through the country’s only high strength and high performing steel GPH Quantum B600D-R.

Mr. Mohammed Jahangir Alam, Managing Director of GPH Ispat and Mr. Mohd. Noor Ali, Managing Director of Unique Group signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

GPH Quantum B600D-R steel rebar is the first of its kind in Bangladesh. A research of BUET found that this rod is 30 percent cost effective compared to the low grade rods of the country. After conducting further research of GPH, B600D-R was produced for the first time in the country. And this grade of rebar is also very rare in the world.

Unique Hotel and Resorts will construct high rise building ‘South Park’ in an exclusive area in Dhaka. There will be 8 basements and 31 floors approximately in this building. Rods with high strength and high ductility are required to maintain structural strength and security of this kind of high-rise buildings.
